Job summary

Barrett Paving Materials Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on plant equipment at our MWC plant. This role ensures high equipment reliability and safe production.

You will work with operations and maintenance teams, maintain records, and support startup/shutdown, with on-call after-hours as needed. A technical degree or related experience is preferred, plus OSHA safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment in industrial settings.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment per schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control faults.
• Inspect lubricants, fluids, seals, and wear parts; maintain records.
• Assist with commissioning, startup/shutdown support, and testing.
