Ford Energy, Ford Motor Company’s newly formed subsidiary focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems, is seeking a software specialist to design and build digital applications and workflows for the plant floor. You will own the SDLC end-to-end, from gathering requirements to deployment, working with MES/IIoT/ERP systems and cybersecurity standards.

Formación

• Experience designing and building software for plant-floor systems.
• Ownership of the software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment.
• Cloud data services experience and data integration.
• Strong communication with stakeholders across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Identify needs and design, build, test, deploy, and support digital applications and workflows.
• Select platforms and approaches, balancing build-versus-buy and low-code options.
• Align digital solutions with FPS priorities and support adoption via training and documentation.
• Connect applications to MES, IIoT, ERP, SCADA, and PLCs.
• Build data pipelines, APIs, and semantic models for production data access.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time SQDCMEP decisions.
