Ford's BlueOval Battery Park Michigan is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility from the ground up, offering a frontline role in the electrification movement. As a key member of our startup team, you will drive data-driven solutions, lead an agile team, and collaborate across departments to deliver advanced automation while upholding FPS and Safety Operating System standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or battery cell manufacturing preferred).
• Fundamental working knowledge of industrial process, PM planning, and machine safety standards.
• Experience with 2D & 3D vision systems for robot guidance, metrology, and identification.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work various shifts and travel extensively (including internationally) as required for plant launch.

Mansioni

• Provide technical expertise to optimize highly automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Manage interaction between systems and configuration for varying production loads.
• Review PM plan performance and drive improvements using machine data.
• Track and improve department KPIs using electronic tools and advanced algorithms.
• Lead Six Sigma project teams to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Serve as a bridge for collaboration between departments to ensure equipment performance.
• Establish preventive maintenance plans for equipment and mentor technicians.
• Ensure adherence to FPS and Safety Operating System to achieve zero injuries.
• Support feasibility on product design changes and lead code updates and backups for automation.
