Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Manager, Plant Support Engineering for Comanche Peak in Glen Rose, TX. You will sponsor health of plant systems and engage Plant Support Engineers to optimize station efficiency.

Responsibilities include leading outage management, directing system monitoring, and coordinating cross-group actions. Strong engineering background and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or related science field.
• Detailed knowledge of power plant systems and fundamentals.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of System Health Teams.
• Represent Plant Support Engineering on outage management teams.
• Direct monitoring of plant systems to optimize performance.
• Develop action plans and manage completion of activities.
• Coordinate station level responses across work groups.
• Lead troubleshooting, problem solving and decision making.
