Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student Intern Engineering Summer 2027 to provide technical support for plant systems and participate in resolving day‑to‑day issues. The role interfaces with Engineering and Operations, helps maintain configuration control, and supports maintenance activities to ensure reliability and performance.

Candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, with minimum GPA 2.8, and are expected to work onsite at Killona, LA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in ABET‑accredited engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering is desired.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve plant issues.
• Provide technical support to Maintenance and Operations for troubleshooting equipment and emergent conditions.
• Develop and issue engineering changes to support reliability.
• Provide technical information related to program bases, performance requirements, and industry experience.
• Prepare engineering products in accordance with standards.
• Support changes in system and component configuration and design basis.
• Maintain required qualifications and complete training for assigned duties.
