Job summary

BD’s Columbus West site seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead the plant's supply chain activities, aligning production planning, materials management, procurement, warehousing, and distribution with BD’s MDS vision. You will drive service levels, efficiency, and safety while guiding a team under BD values.

The role requires seven years in logistics or supply chain, with strong leadership, communication, and Lean/Six Sigma understanding. MBA preferred; exposure to GMP/ISO standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (logistics, supply chain, engineering, or business).
• Seven years of logistics and/or supply chain management experience required.
• Management experience with diverse hourly and technical staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant monthly S&OP process with Global S&OP guidance.
• Issue Master Production Schedules and monitor performance to schedule.
• Run MRP and ensure material availability for production.
• Oversee procurement and inventory management for the site.
• Ensure GMP/ISO compliance and safety policies at the plant.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement and Central QA on supplier relations.
