Job summary

BD in Columbus (West) seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead the plant's supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics. You will drive S&OP, MRP, and inventory strategy to meet service level targets while ensuring BD quality and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, and a background in Lean/Six Sigma are essential. In this role, you will develop the team and align with BD values, manage budgets, and collaborate across the supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
• MBA preferred.
• Seven years of logistics and/or supply chain management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the plant monthly S&OP process for capacity management.
• Issue the Master Production Schedule and monitor performance to schedule.
• Run MRP to supply raw materials and components for production.
• Lead procurement of materials and services for site activities.
• Manage inventory, space and relationships with suppliers and distribution centers.
• Oversee sterilization capacity planning, scheduling and shipping.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain network to optimize information flow.
• Deploy and maintain supply chain processes and systems.
• Focus on continuous improvement of material flow and KPI benchmarking.
• Set annual Plant Supply Chain goals and drive implementation.
• Develop and coach team in alignment with BD values and HR policies.
• Propose initiatives to optimize costs and manage operating budget.
• Lead procurement savings and working capital targets.
• Coordinate with Global Procurement and QA on compliance and supplier improvements.
• Ensure GMP, regulatory, ISO adherence and safe operations.
