Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Plant Supplier Quality Engineer to protect production by managing supplier quality, containment, and corrective actions. You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Corporate Supplier Quality to prevent line stoppages and improve supplier performance.

Ideal candidates will have a background in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering with 3+ years in supplier quality and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Supplier/Manufacturing Quality in manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier non-conformance and corrective actions.
• Experience leading containment to mitigate line stoppages.
• Knowledge of 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily supplier quality performance and trends.
• Lead containment activities for supplier non-conformances.
• Issue, manage, and track NCRs; drive root-cause actions.
• Identify high-risk suppliers and mitigate production impact.
• Develop supplier risk mitigation and recovery plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier issues.
• Ensure supplier compliance with ISO, UL, and internal requirements.
