Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Plant Superintendent at the St. Anthony, IN site to provide leadership to shift Supervisors and Maintenance teams, ensuring safe, efficient production of corrugated products.

You will oversee process management across safety, quality, and productivity, support HSE initiatives, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high morale and teamwork within the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing required; corrugated manufacturing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a union facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to shift Supervisors and Maintenance Team Members and deliver results on key operational metrics.
• Support HSE initiatives and ensure safety, health, OSHA requirements are followed.
• Manage salaried supervisors and maintenance staff including training, planning, assigning, evaluating, and disciplining employees.
• Oversee training, planning and assigning work; ensure regular and overtime scheduling.
• Coordinate and manage inventory controls and supplier/vendor relations as needed.
• Lead contractor activities, audits for safety, quality, and economy of service.
