Job summary

General Motors is looking for a Software Issue Resolution Team member to own software integration readiness for vehicle programs, partnering with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality in on-site builds and launches. You will capture build data, flag faults, and drive closure of software issues to enable vehicles to ship with acceptable software quality.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of post-graduate engineering experience, strong communication, and ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of post-graduation engineering experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural work.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead SW EOL issue resolution during plant builds and PPO.
• Support EVC and HVF flash and functionality activities.
• Track Electrical software PRTS issues and ensure timely closure.
• Assist QE and diagnosticians with PRTS 4-Diamonds at Launch PRC.
• Provide preliminary root cause analysis and proper containment.
• Coordinate ETO and PTR activities and escalation of issues.
