Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Typically 2–5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of electrical controls, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment (PLCs, VFDs, servos).
• Experience supporting engineering projects or capital initiatives.
• Ability to work in a team-based, cross-functional environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with standard engineering tools and software.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Support capital project execution from concept to commissioning.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance during projects.
• Provide input on equipment selection, specifications, layouts, and vendor evaluations.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Controls.
• Develop project documentation, schedules, budgets, and technical justifications.
• Support production to sustain and improve capacity and reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Assist with commissioning, start-up, and handoffs of new equipment and systems.
