Job summary

Sun Chemical in Cincinnati operates a 24/7 manufacturing facility. The Site Manager drives safety leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance across the site, overseeing the Chickering production site and administrating Color Intermediates operations.

You will lead a 92-person site team through 8 department leaders, fostering continuous improvement, strong employee engagement, and reliable product availability to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Fifteen (15) years or more of demonstrated managerial leadership experience in chemical manufacturing is required.
• Plant Manager experience is required.
• Experience managing both union and non-union teams with employee relations and culture improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the site team to safety and manufacturing excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement, employee engagement, and a high-performance culture.
• Identify and manage operational, regulatory, and financial risks and costs.
• Develop budgets, objectives, and capital plans aligned with global strategy.
• Ensure asset utilization and reliable product availability across the site.
• Represent Sun Chemical with authorities and community partners.
