Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation seeks a Site Manager for its Cincinnati-area operations, leading a 92-person site within a 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will oversee eight department leaders, drive safety, and ensure reliable product availability while aligning with Sun Chemical and DIC values.

The role focuses on delivering operational excellence, cost control, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, with collaboration across finance, regulatory, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of demonstrated managerial leadership in chemical manufacturing.
• Plant Manager experience is required.
• Experience managing both union and non-union teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site team to excellence in EHS performance and manufacturing capability, meeting customer expectations for quality, service, and delivery.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, breakthrough performance, and employee engagement.
• Identify and manage operational risks including EHS, regulatory, quality, and asset reliability.
• Develop budgets, objectives, personnel plans, inventory, and capital plans aligned with global objectives.
• Ensure asset strategies maximize utilization and reliable product availability.
• Represent Sun Chemical to state/local authorities and community stakeholders.
• Foster Sun Chemical/DIC values and a high-performance, diverse team culture.
• Establish and support a safety culture where accidents are preventable.
