Ingersoll Rand in Chicago, IL seeks an Operations & Sales Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive onsite revenue growth with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership and alignment with company multisite strategies.

You will oversee cost control, planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with Sales to expand business while maintaining excellent site performance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading operations in a manufacturing environment with 20+ employees.
• 5+ years of strong financial acumen with experience managing site level P&L, labor models, and budgets.
• 4+ years working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People) targets.
• Ensure on-time productions while meeting quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Align production schedules, materials, and customer demand across the site.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment (OSHA, EHS, environmental standards).
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement and cost reduction actions.
• Own site revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on business development, demand planning, and quoting.
• Manage site financial performance, including budget, costs, and CAPEX execution.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team and culture, ensuring alignment with multi‑site strategy and governance.
