Job summary

Riverence-Provisions-LLC is seeking a sanitation associate to clean and sanitize processing areas, with emphasis on packaging and evisceration zones, ensuring the highest quality products in a safe, efficient manner.

The role involves operating cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and maintaining sanitary conditions across processing lines. Candidate should be able to work in a refrigerated, industrial plant environment and lift up to 75 pounds as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and co-workers.
• Experience in sanitation or food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove screens and covers from processing equipment for cleaning.
• Operate a high-pressure hot water spray gun used to rinse off food particles and remove foamed chemical compounds.
• Operate a mechanical foaming unit to apply chemical cleaning compounds.
• Inspect all plant areas to ensure complete sanitation and removal of waste.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, floors, walls and ceilings according to safety standards.
• Follow safety and equipment handling procedures including hot water and chemical handling.
