Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year college degree, 4 year degree in a Safety/Environmental or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee company-wide safety programs and trainings.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and manage hazard remediation.
• Lead training for new hires and ongoing safety programs (e.g., Hearing Conservation, Haz-Com, LOTO).
• Incident reporting and investigation with corrective actions; manage incident response plan.
• Maintain OSHA documentation and liaison with government agencies as required.
• Oversee facility safety systems, fire protection, pest control, and related records.
• Coordinate with site and corporate for policy updates and regulatory compliance.
