Job summary

National Beef in Moultrie, GA, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our on-site team. You will help maintain OSHA compliance, oversee machinery safety, and enforce safety policies while guiding incident investigations and training programs for all plant staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Understanding OSHA regulations and assisting in maintaining compliance in all areas.
• Maintaining a general understanding and awareness of all machinery in operational, mechanical, and safety aspects.
• Developing and enforcing Occupational Safety Policies.
• Directing accident investigation procedures.
• Keeping records of safety data.
• Intervening in unsafe activities or operations.
• Conducting safety training for all plant employees.
• Setting a good example regarding safety and all other plant policies.
