Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection in Souderton, PA, seeks a Safety Manager to lead our plant’s safety program across beef case-ready operations. You will drive OSHA compliance, inspections, and training, partnering with Operations, HR, Maintenance, QA, and leadership to reduce injuries and promote a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, data analysis, and safety meetings; developing controls for hazards; and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing, food-processing, or industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety principles.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, hazard assessments, and training.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels and on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s overall safety program and act as the primary safety resource.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and develop corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety programs, procedures, policies, and training.
• Lead investigations of injuries, illnesses, near misses, and other incidents.
