CDI Custom Curb Adapters in Iowa seeks a proactive Safety Liaison to lead safety initiatives and ensure OSHA compliance at the plant. You will coordinate training, perform inspections, and drive a culture of safety across operations.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, 2+ years in safety, and strong communication skills to support incidents, investigations, and corrective actions with HR and plant leadership.

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in a safety role, industrial environment, or safety committee leadership.
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards for general industry/manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting.
• OSHA 10/30 General Industry certification is highly preferred; First Aid/CPR is a plus.

Mansioni

• Serve as primary internal resource for the plant's safety program, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular, documented safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Coordinate and track mandatory safety training (new hire orientation, LOTO, confined space, forklift).
• Lead the plant's Safety Committee, scheduling meetings and tracking action items.
• Assist HR/Plant Manager with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory reporting and OSHA logs are accurate and submitted on time.
• Coach and mentor employees on safety regulations and best practices.
