Job summary

Thule Inc. in Seymour, CT is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maximize plant productivity by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing tools and equipment across assembly and fabrication facilities.

The role covers pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, working with Production, Fabrication, and Warehouse teams to support continuous improvement. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining machines, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, reading manuals,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with apprenticeship or trade school.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting.
• Role is very active and requires standing, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• CMMS/ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment across buildings.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test/adjust machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Use hand/power tools, meters, and welding equipment as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Set up production equipment and fixtures.
• Assist Facilities with minor repairs and general maintenance (travel between buildings).
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
