Job summary

H.B. Fuller, a leading adhesives company, seeks a Manage/Engineer II to lead facility safety, maintenance, and capital projects at the Roseville, CA site. The role drives reliability improvements, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while serving as a key site leader and acting for the Plant Manager when needed.

The position requires engineering leadership experience, strong communication, and a track record in safety program management. Onsite work in Roseville, CA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive operations, engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing safety programs and maintaining compliance with EHS regulations.
• Experience developing and executing maintenance, reliability, or capital improvement programs.
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage employees across organizational levels.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote facility safety programs and drive continuous safety improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, OSHA, PSM, RCRA, TSCA, and DOT regulations.
• Provide training for critical safety programs (LOTO, confined space entry, line breaking, hot work).
• Manage plant infrastructure, maintenance budgets, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Establish and monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs.
• Lead process optimization and problem-solving using Six Sigma and 8D methodologies.
• Develop capital project proposals, cost estimates, and CAPEX requests.
• Execute capital projects on schedule and within budget with proper MOC and safety review processes.
• Lead or support multi-site engineering, maintenance, safety, and operations improvement initiatives.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and cycle count processes.
