Job summary

H.B. Fuller, the world’s largest pureplay adhesives company (NYSE: FUL), seeks a Process Safety Management Engineer to lead risk reduction across multiple facilities handling flammable materials.

You will partner with EHS, Operations and Engineering to drive safe, reliable operations and support audits, risk assessments and incident investigations. This role requires a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering, 5+ years of process safety experience, OSHA PSM and EPA RMP knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of process safety experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management Program requirements.
• Experience leading PHAs, MOCs, incident investigations, and compliance audits.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for new and existing processes.
• Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
• Identify, design, and implement process safety engineering controls.
• Support OSHA PSM and EPA RMP program compliance activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
• Support mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain process safety information and system documentation.
• Track safety metrics and support compliance audits and training.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety or related Engineering field

5+ years of process safety experience

Knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements

Experience leading PHAs, MOCs, investigations, audits

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

PE CSP certification (preferred)
