Job summary

Angstrom Automotive - USA seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant equipment reliability and safety initiatives. You will drive PM/PdM, troubleshoot line faults, and coordinate with Production for daily output.

You will oversee contractors, manage spares inventories, implement 5S and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and environmental standards, while coaching a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Experience planning and executing PM/PdM programs with robust recordkeeping.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and evaluating a maintenance team.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
• Knowledge of QMS practices, SOP management, Environmental standards, and IATF 16949.
• Familiarity with 5S, OEE, MTTR, MTBF, and improving them via data-driven actions.
• Ability to plan installations, relocations, and efficient plant layouts.
• Strong inventory stewardship for critical spares and collaboration with Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Maximize machine uptime and OEE in line with company expectations.
• Champion employee and equipment safety as the top priority; enforce HSE guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to keep production moving smoothly.
• Coordinate with Production to support daily output commitments.
• Plan, install, commission, and maintain machinery and related equipment.
• Oversee and direct work by external contractors for expansions.
• Maintain records and trend charts per SOPs and the QMS.
• Ensure departmental adherence to policies and safety regulations.
• Lead emergency repairs on plant equipment across the facility.
• Uphold 5S housekeeping and manage spares in partnership with Purchasing.
• Train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members.
• Drive corrective actions from daily production meetings.
