Job summary

Sigan is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead installation, repair, and maintenance operations across facilities and production lines in Ottawa, Illinois. You will drive reliability improvements, manage PM programs, and ensure safety standards while coordinating technicians on critical tasks.

You will plan repair schedules, review cost estimates, coach team leads, and maintain thorough maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a maintenance manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC and servo systems; strong grounding in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with liquid filling equipment; background in the personal care industry is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office for planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication; meticulous organization and multitasking.
• Proven success implementing maintenance best practices and standardized processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance across facilities and production equipment.
• Ensure machinery meets performance and safety standards through robust preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Create, implement, and continuously improve maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Plan and assign repair schedules; review and validate cost estimates and timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation: daily progress, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
