Job summary

Lhoist North America in Florida is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader to direct electricians and mechanics, plan maintenance and capital budgets, and drive proactive asset management. You will focus on productivity improvements, regulatory compliance, EH&S initiatives, and clear team guidance to support the plant's short- and long-term objectives.

Requirements include 5–7 years of hands-on leadership in heavy manufacturing or mining, with strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on maintenance leadership in heavy manufacturing, construction, or mining.
• Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience is required.
• Reliability systems development and implementation experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability and availability of plant assets and equipment.
• Direct and prioritize needed repairs.
• Advise production/plant management on equipment status and repairs.
• Lead identification and resolution of equipment failures.
• Allocate resources amid competing demands.
• Manage and utilize contractors effectively.
• Champion maintenance department communications.
• Drive culture change from reactive to proactive asset management.
