Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a maintenance leader to direct hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, drive reliability initiatives, and optimize plant productivity in our Florida operations.

The role emphasizes planning budgets, outages, and adherence to safety standards, with strong emphasis on team leadership and cross-functional collaboration to meet long-term plant goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on maintenance leadership in heavy manufacturing, construction, and/or mining environments.
• Electrical or mechanical maintenance experience with reliability program development is preferred.
• Bachelor-level degree in Engineering or technical field; high school diploma acceptable with demonstrated skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance, electrical, and engineering to meet short- and long-range objectives with optimum efficiency.
• Plan maintenance and capital budgets through identifying plant opportunities.
• Ensure annual outages are planned, scheduled, executed, and closed.
• Meet reliability, efficiency, and cost objectives as planned and budgeted.
• Ensure project standards and guidelines are applied and adhered to.
• Develop and implement improved maintenance processes for productivity optimization.
• Lead EH&S initiatives and compliance within the maintenance team.
