Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Plant Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment in a process/chemical environment. The role leads maintenance and reliability initiatives, supports production performance, and drives continuous improvement with EHS compliance.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering background with 3-5+ years in industrial maintenance and strong knowledge of CMMS, SAP, FMEA, RCA and PSM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering or related field.
• 3-5+ years in manufacturing with maintenance, reliability and plant engineering.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP for maintenance planning and materials management.
• Certifications preferred: CMRP, CRL, PMP or similar credentials.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and EHS regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize plant reliability, availability and performance.
• Manage and optimize the work order system (CMMS) and SAP transactions to ensure timely planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Develop and implement reliability programs and methodologies including FMEA, RCA, PSM and other reliability improvement processes.
• Plan and execute capital and improvement projects using project management best practices (PMP/CRL), including scope definition, cost control, commissioning and handover.
• Support process and chemical manufacturing operations by identifying process improvement opportunities and resolving technical issues impacting quality, yield or throughput.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and corporate EHS standards; conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
