Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance organization ensuring the safe, reliable operation of production equipment and facilities.

You will oversee maintenance programs, coordinate with Operations Leadership, manage budgets, and drive capital projects from scope through installation while partnering with Corporate Project Engineering. You will develop the team through coaching and training, ensure adherence to safety systems, and balance operational needs with asset

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of chemical, specialty chemicals, refining, industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of equipment reliability programs and maintenance best practices.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance organization, promoting a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Ensure the reliable operation of plant equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure through effective maintenance planning and execution.
• Coordinate daily maintenance priorities with production leadership to balance operational needs, reduce downtime, and improve asset availability.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and operational issues, implementing sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop team members through coaching, training, performance feedback, and succession planning.
