Job summary
IFS Industries in Texas is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable production equipment and facility systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and capital projects to improve safety, quality, and uptime.
You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Safety, lead maintenance activities, and guide contractors to meet operational needs and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 5+ years in maintenance/manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, piping and process equipment.
- Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance know‑how.
- Experience managing installations, capital projects, and safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and reliability of production equipment and building systems.
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
- Lead equipment upgrades, installations, and capital projects.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and coordinate with safety and quality teams.
- Provide guidance to maintenance staff and coordinate with contractors.
