Job summary

IFS Industries is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Engineer to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility and production equipment. You will lead maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex equipment, and drive process improvements in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Safety.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, capital projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ electrical/ industrial engineering or related field.
5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or equipment reliability in manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, piping, tanks, mixers, controls.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and capital projects.
Ability to read manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance, repair, and reliability of production equipment and facility systems.
Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
Coordinate planned maintenance and spare-parts management.
Lead capital projects and manage vendor/contractor relations.
Perform root-cause analysis and support safety/compliance initiatives.
Provide guidance to maintenance staff and collaborate with Production, Quality, and EHS.
