Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Dover, DE seeks a Refrigeration Specialist to run and maintain plant refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance across processing and packaging areas.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production teams, implement improvements, and manage spare parts to support all equipment. Grounded in safety and quality, this role requires EPA certification and adaptability to shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with industrial maintenance experience
• EPA Type I & II certification required
• Experience as an ‘A’ refrigeration mechanic or comparable experience
• Thorough knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Ability to repair mechanical, electrical and instrumentation problems
• Willingness to work weekends, late shifts and OT
• Must pass a multi-skill exam covering refrigeration specialist duties
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team under maintenance supervisor
• Operate, maintain, and repair plant refrigeration, HVAC, and dehumidification systems
• Inspect systems to maintain target temperatures and humidity
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and quickly repair refrigeration/HVAC issues
• Review performance and implement improvements
• Partner with maintenance and engineering on new productivity ideas
• Manage spare parts stock to support equipment
