Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Technical Leader to oversee the Quality Technical Team at a 24/7 manufacturing site. You will drive quality metrics, process control, and continuous improvement while coaching up to 5 direct reports.

The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to ensure product quality aligns with customer and industry standards. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with data analysis skills, Six Sigma experience, and compelling communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience leading quality teams and driving Six Sigma projects.
• Proven ability to use data to guide decisions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control and process stability in a 24/7 facility.
• Guide safety, environmental, and quality initiatives site-wide.
• Develop and mentor a quality technical team and shift technicians.
• Analyze customer complaints and material losses for root cause.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance on cost/quality tradeoffs.
• Prepare reports on KPIs for leadership review.
