Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an Operations Leader at the Savannah plant. This salaried role directs Front Line Supervisors and operations staff, sets priorities, allocates resources, and drives safety, quality, service, and cost performance.

You will lead TPM, Lean, Six Sigma initiatives and translate plant strategy into concrete operating plans, managing manpower, capital investments, and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of cross-functional, complex manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading plant-wide initiatives and working with both union and non-union environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Formal training or demonstrated proficiency in TPM, Lean, Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure a safe, compliant workplace for employees and contractors.
• Drive objectives for safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, and environmental performance.
• Lead Autonomous Maintenance, TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma projects to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Optimize labor, materials, equipment, and resources to meet production schedules and customer specs.
• Set performance expectations and coordinate front-line leadership to deliver plant objectives.
• Partner across plant functions to align priorities and meet customer needs.
