Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Facility Technical Manager to lead plant quality systems, laboratory operations, and process optimization.

You will act as the in-plant technical expert for manufacturing processes and formulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality incidents and improve operational efficiency. The role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and R&D to address customer needs, oversee SAP data integrity, and support new product introductions

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years in chemical manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with SPC and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading RCA and corrective actions.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant quality strategy, reducing COPQ using SPC, 8D, and RCA tools.
• Manage laboratory operations, including staff supervision, testing, and calibration.
• Serve as technical expert for production processes, formulations, and troubleshooting.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost yield, productivity, and process capability.
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain ISO 9000 compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and R&D to address customer needs.
• Oversee SAP data integrity, including BOMs, recipes, and quality specs.
• Lead NPI, scale-up activities, and quality planning efforts.
