Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods Co. is seeking a Plant Quality Manager in Corona, CA, to lead all QA activities at the facility, ensuring health and safety, and guaranteeing food quality. You will drive the strategic quality vision as the site lead within BRF's expanded operations.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with operations and functional leaders to implement robust quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement across aseptic processes and regulatory programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or related field.
• 4+ years of food industry experience.
• PCQI and HACCP certification.
• 2+ years of aseptic processing of Low-Acid Canned Foods (LACF) in hermetically sealed containers or retort.
• 2+ years of HACCP, SQF, GFSI, FDA, and/or USDA audits.
• 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility food safety and regulatory compliance (FSMA, HACCP, GMP, pest/chemical control, environmental monitoring).
• Coordinate with Corporate Quality Manager on inspections and audits (FDA, CDPH, SQF, Kosher) and report actions to leadership.
• Provide aseptic oversight and mitigate risks to consumers, product, and environment.
• Maintain sterilization qualification and requalification programs for aseptic products.
