Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics Inc in Yorkville seeks a Plant Quality Manager to lead our North American quality for products, processes, and services. You’ll report to the VP of Operations and influence customer, supplier, production, and project quality across the product lifecycle.

Lead a local team, collaborate with a global organization, deploy quality roadmaps, and ensure audit readiness, certifications, and continuous improvement through QRQC and Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing quality teams.
• Experience with precision machining, castings, and forgings.
• Experience with audits and certification requirements.
• Structured problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Experience with Lean and new product introduction.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for quality across North America and align with global standards.
• Develop and coach quality engineers, technicians, and aftermarket staff.
• Strengthen quality across the plant by preventing defects and embedding quality in decisions.
• Lead QRQC-driven problem solving to address root causes and lasting actions.
• Represent the customer in quality communications and audits.
• Maintain audit readiness and alignment with group standards.
• Deploy quality roadmaps and connect local and global priorities.
• Support supplier, project quality, and aftermarket activities throughout the lifecycle.
