Sonoco is seeking a Plant Quality Manager at our Irving, TX facility. You will oversee the quality testing/reporting system, drive APQP, and lead continuous improvement to meet customer requirements. With a four-year degree and 2+ years in quality systems, you will train teams across shifts and reduce process variation for better products.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required, preferably in sciences or engineering.
• 2+ years experience in development/maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the plant’s quality testing/reporting system.
• Coordinate, support, train, and facilitate within all attributes of the Quality Management System.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes.
