Job summary

Voltava in Michigan is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer to lead quality activities on the manufacturing floor and drive improvements across teams. You will investigate quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure documentation and customer approvals are up to date.

You will perform MSA, support APQP, and participate in Engineering Change processes to validate standards and drive successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing QA role.
• Experience with AIAG APQP processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing floor quality activities and provide leadership on quality initiatives.
• Lead investigations into quality concerns with cross-functional teams and validate containment.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified for effectiveness.
• Maintain quality documentation and obtain customer approvals when required.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and validate error-proofing on the floor.
• Review and participate in Engineering Change processes to update and validate standards.
• Support launch programs with quality documentation prior to production.
