Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer to implement process control programs ensuring products meet customer specs. You will lead continuous improvements using quality tools and data analysis to drive quality metrics.

You will manage FMEA, SPC, and CAPA processes; train staff, review methods for compliance, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to improve product quality and process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of two years automotive experience.
• Exposure to customer interactions.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple quality projects from feasibility to post-launch.
• Facilitate FMEA with engineering and monitor status.
• Develop and maintain SPC techniques and analysis.
• Ensure ISO/TS16949 or IATF16949 compliance.
• Investigate defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain customer complaint logs and coordinate CAPA.
• Train personnel on quality tools and audit techniques.
• Review production methods for quality improvements.
• Visit customers and suppliers when needed.
