Job summary

You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor selections, and support plant startup activities. A BA/BS and 5+ years in manufacturing project work are expected, with SAP and MS Project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Ability to analyze data.
• Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and implement change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to complete major projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to schedule resources to balance continuous improvement with day-to-day results.
• Subject matter expert in engineering fields (process, packaging, refrigeration, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation.
• Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables meet key components.
• Coordinate bid package development and release for construction bidding and field execution.
• Select contractors and contracting methods per engineering practices.
• Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of projects.
• Manage project scope and approvals for changes.
• Maintain budget forecasts and cash flow projections; monthly status reports.
