Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Rowlett, TX, seeks a safety‑minded plant worker to perform daily maintenance inspections and support operations at an outdoor concrete crushing facility. You will follow safety policies, operate equipment, and assist with repairs and housekeeping.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather; must be 18 or older. We offer health insurance, a 401K with employer matching, paid vacation and holidays, health & wellness programs, and employee discount

Qualifications

• Some experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Outdoor work in all weather

Responsibilities

• Properly follows all company safety policies, and regulatory safety requirements; inspects workplace daily and reports deficiencies.
• Performs daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and monitors site for safety or maintenance issues.
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing debris.
• Performs repairs and maintenance throughout the plant including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
• Assists with operations, cleaning, washing, sweeping and shoveling materials; ensures dust control measures.
• Willing to cross-train and perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity goals.
