Job summary

ARCOSA Crushed Concrete in Rowlett, Texas, is seeking a motivated plant laborer to support daily operations, perform safety inspections, and help maintain reliable production. You will perform lifting and manual tasks outdoors, monitor equipment, and follow environmental and OSHA safety rules; overtime and variable hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Some experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety policies and OSHA regulations; inspects workplace daily and reports deficiencies
• Performs daily maintenance inspections to maximize production and reduce downtime
• Keeps work area clean and orderly; monitors site for safety or maintenance issues
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor to operate equipment and remove debris
• Performs repairs and maintenance across the plant including belt, wear parts, and pump service
• Assists with various plant operations such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling; ensures dust control
• Willing to cross-train and safely perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
