Job summary

You will monitor process parameters, lead a team of hourly staff, and coordinate with maintenance to maximize throughput while achieving quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in heavy industry, a relevant engineering degree, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing is required (3–5 years).
• Knowledge of kiln operating systems and heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead by example.
• Monitor plant operations including safety, quality, environmental, and production areas.
• Review policies, update procedures and communicate with affected departments.
• Supervise hourly employees: schedules, assignments, and performance.
• Maximize production rates while meeting quality targets.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of consumables.
• Complete shift logs, check-off lists, and safety meetings.
