Job summary

J&J Snack Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations under the Production Manager. You will supervise staff, monitor workflow, and implement process improvements to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in the plant.

You will mentor the team, plan schedules, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and warehousing to maintain smooth production flow while enforcing GMP, SQF, and FDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, SQF, and FDA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
• Plans and prioritizes production schedules to optimize resources and minimize downtime.
• Mentors and motivates the production team; trains and cross-trains staff.
• Manages production goals including waste, labor, throughput, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensures timely line initiation, efficient changeovers, and monitors labor costs.
