Job summary

Atlantic Caseworks in Charlotte, NC, seeks a production scheduler leader who owns the plant-wide schedule, coordinates priorities with PMs, engineering, purchasing and shipping, and ensures projects move on time.

The role is hands-on on the production floor ~80% of the day, with remaining time spent maintaining scheduling systems, leading daily meetings, and driving safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years leading commercial millwork production.
• AWI technical knowledge preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the plant-wide production schedule in the company scheduling software.
• Coordinate daily production priorities with Project Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, and Shipping.
• Monitor every project in production and identify schedule risks early.
• Spend most of each day on the production floor so work stays on schedule.
• Supervise production work cells and help team leads meet daily goals.
• Resolve bottlenecks and move people and resources to keep production flowing.
• Check quality before work moves to the next operation.
• Communicate schedule changes and production status to internal teams.
• Keep production status and scheduling data accurate.
• Lead daily production meetings and share priorities with shop personnel.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient shop.
• Improve workflow, productivity, and on-time delivery.
