Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Plant Director to oversee daily plant operations, directing safety, production, quality, and cost management. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and align activities with Amcor values and mission.

In this senior role, you’ll manage budgets, optimize capacity, and foster a culture of accountability, engineering performance, and on-time delivery for customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes.
• Experience leading a progressive manufacturing facility.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Foster and enhance the safety culture to achieve safety excellence.
• Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility.
• Manage financial performance and meet business commitments.
• Oversee plant cost structure including direct and indirect labor, maintenance and consumables.
• Assist operating management with budgeting, production statistics, cost analysis and capital expenditures.
• Lead the facility in establishing and meeting continuous improvement objectives.
• Develop and maintain a positive culture aligned with Amcor values and mission.
• Encourage and support development of all plant employees.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate production capacity, staffing and equipment planning.
