Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee plant activities and meet business objectives. You will lead daily production operations, manage supervisors, and drive schedules, safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will implement lean practices, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure on-time fulfillment and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (blowing mold/plastics environment is a plus).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team.
• Experience with scheduling, production planning, and process optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead daily production operations
• Supervise, train, and develop production supervisors, leads, and operators
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams, as well as other departments
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee staffing levels, time management, and employee performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality systems
• Track and report key performance indicators (OEE, scrap, downtime, etc.)
