Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily plant operations under the direction of the Plant Manager. You will balance production, maintenance, quality and safety while developing a high-performing team and delivering value to customers.

The role requires 5–7+ years in a heavy manufacturing/mining setting, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance or equivalent leadership work experience.
• 5–7 years leadership experience in fast-paced heavy manufacturing/mining environment with cost accounting knowledge.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the most safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant.
• Lead plant performance to meet KPI targets across mining, production, maintenance, quality and cost.
• Develop and implement strategic plan to meet objectives; manage budgets and resources.
• Coordinate plant activities with management team and mentor staff to achieve goals.
• Support the Safe Food initiative based on FSMA and Good Manufacturing Practices.
