Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH is seeking a seasoned engineering leader in the Pennsauken, New Jersey area to drive process improvement and optimize production performance. This role will oversee safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding a team of engineers and technicians in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives.

You will own plant layout optimization, support automation projects, collaborate with global OPEX teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
10+ years in manufacturing or production environments.
7+ years in continuous improvement, OPEX, or similar roles.
Experience in food or regulated production environments preferred.
Proven Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S/6S implementation.
Experience leading projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Fluent in English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and mitigate safety risks.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and PPE guidelines.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Develop, track, and report KPIs.
Drive productivity improvements and optimize plant layout.
Lead engineering projects such as equipment upgrades and automation.
Collaborate with QESH on safety and compliance.
Travel internationally as required.
