Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH is seeking an Automation & Controls Lead to serve as the plant’s technical authority for automation, controls, and factory floor networks. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning automation strategy with plant goals and leading projects end to end.

This role may support multiple facilities within a regional pod, partnering with engineers, technicians, and IT/OT teams to elevate automation maturity across sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years leading automation/controls in manufacturing.
2+ years leadership or supervisory experience with technical teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary in-plant leader for automation and control systems.
Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning and handoff.
Diagnose and resolve complex automation and controls issues; implement corrective actions.
